Paschalin Basil is a PhD student based at the Institute for Development Studies, University of Nairobi. She has a master’s degree in Development Studies and a Bachelor of Education (Arts). She is the Assistant Coordinator of Kenya Transport Research Network (KTRN), a professional network that focuses on transport issues that include research, policy and practice. She is a member of the African Network for Walking and Cycling (ANWAC) and she is also an Urban Leaders Global Program fellow. Her current areas of research interest include public transport, informal economy and social protection, and governance.
